Black Milk will be hitting the road on his No Poison No Paradise Tour throughout North America, touching down in Austin, Texas on October 5th @ Red 7, presented by Transmission Events. Joining the tour is live band Nat Turner (Aaron “Ab” Abernathy on keys and vocals, Malik Hunter on bass, Z Horton on drums and Bill Sharp as DJ), as well as guests Quelle Chris and DJ Sober. Black Milk will perform music from his new album, No Poison No Paradise, which is due out October 15th via Fat Beats/Computer Ugly.
“I’m looking forward to hitting the road again with a new album on the way and new music to perform,” says Black Milk, “Nat Turner and I have great chemistry together, and we push the show to new heights every year. This run will be the best yet.”
Black previously released two singles “Sunday’s Best/Monday’s Worst” and “Perfected On Puritan Ave,” introducing listeners to some of the themes from the upcoming album, which is structured conceptually as a series of dreams in the mind of a fictional character named Sonny, Jr. The album art and tour flyer depict some of the imagery from Black’s lyrical content, and were created by Dallas, Texas artist Joonbug. Be sure to check the tour when it comes to a city near you.
